According to the lawsuit, these calls may have violated the FCC’s Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Each RMG telemarketing call you received will have a maximum value of $300. You may file a claim for up to three calls per telephone number included in the Call Records. This means that your maximum payment amount could be $900 per telephone number. Although payment amounts could be $300-$900, actual payment amounts will be based on the total number of calls and valid Claim Forms received.
The email doesn’t have the full phone number, just the last 4 digits. It has the date the phone number was registered. My name certainly is on the account, but I can’t prove it to the court’s satisfaction…unless they want to send someone to my home and watch me log in to my account and switch between my account summary and contact info page. Any screen shots I’d provide from my PagePlus account wouldn’t prove even to my satisfaction that the phone number belonged to me, not unless my name and phone numbers appeared on the same page in a non-editable format to begin with.
Still don’t understand how we had to go through all the extra criteria to weed out people who are being untruthful and the amount is drastically lower then first told. I never received my check for the robocall settlement. I moved and sent them my new address but I didn’t get my check. I also sent an email and never received a response. In the end, 275,000 Class Members were expected to receive a class action rebates check of an average of $22.
Not sure what kind of proof I can dig up. My ph # was included in the database, and submitted a claim. I did not receive an email to send proof of that, yet. Did you receive any telemarketing phone calls you never expected to receive? Does it distract you from doing something important, and you want to complain about it?
Aren’t these courts paid for by tax dollars? The people pay for these courts and staff. I received an email stateing my claim was valid and no settlement check.
